Experienced interior designer Eilyn Cueto hails from and works primarily from Florida. This Miami-born businesswoman -- now residing and working in the Fort Lauderdale region -- departed the U.S. in her teenage years, eager to see the world. At only 16, she graduated high school then traveled, seeking her goals for adulthood. That swiftly led to beautiful Costa Rica, where she remained for her studies. Falling in love with the country and its architecture, she pursued and graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture in Interior Design from the Universidad Latina de Costa Rica in 2010. The education in Costa Rica was more than her books; it was working alongside a licensed architect, freelancing in design and even helping to build hotels, restaurants, stores and gas stations.
Eilyn Cueto returned to Florida and with Sire Design, shares her interior design work with clients around the world. She has worked with million dollar estates, celebrity homes, business offices and more, using skills all honed during her international studies.
The Practical Side of Eilyn Cueto’s Passion for Design
June 15, 2018Of course, she was very intelligent girl, Eilyn Cueto was just 16 when she graduated high school. Unfortunately, graduating at that age meant she was nowhere near ready to know what she wanted to do for a living. There was a momentary lean to the practical side of her personality, when she momentarily thought of becoming a lawyer, but her heart just wasn’t in it. That was when she decided. travel for a while. She fell in love with Costa Rica. She spent almost 6 years there, going to college to study architecture and interior design.
In Costa Rica, Eilyn Cueto began to discover her fresh design vision while still in college, as she worked as a freelance designer under the tutelage and supervision of a licensed architect. From that platform, she was able to design and build numerous public spaces, including hotels, restaurants, markets and many more. In fact, by the time she returned to Miami, she was ready to open her own company, from which she gave her best to clients throughout the state of Florida and even internationally.
